Christian Wilhelm Petersen

Christian Wilhelm Petersen (born April 26, 1811 in Hamburg , † February 12, 1886 in Ochsenwärder ) was a German court owner and bailiff .

Life

Christian Wilhelm Petersen was the son of the Hamburg city book clerk Marcus Hermann Petersen (1784–1860), his brother was the Hamburg mayor Carl Friedrich Petersen (1809–1892). As a farm owner in the rural community of Ochsenwärder, Petersen has been involved in various offices. From 1862 to 1872 he was governor and chairman of the dyke jury . From 1873 to 1883 he was chairman of the community council. In addition, Petersen was from 1863 to 1874 an appraisal citizen in the country and from 1875 to 1882 tax appraiser for the rulership of the marshland . From 1870 to 1875 he served as a member of the electoral commission for the jury.

Petersen was a member of the Hamburg Parliament from 1859 to 1865 .

Christian Wilhelm Petersen married Margaretha Rebecca Blecken († 1888), they had two daughters and a son.
