Christian Will

Christian Will (born November 28, 1927 in Rimpar ; † May 13, 2019 in Würzburg ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

At the age of 16, Will was called up for military service. After he was released from captivity, a typesetter practice followed in the Franconian company printing house in Würzburg , where he was a company calculator and clerk for wage and salary issues. In his early youth he was a member of the Catholic youth group, dean's youth leader in the BDKJ and chairman of the district youth association Würzburg-Land . He was also the author and editor of local history books.

Will was a founding member of the JU Würzburg-Land and long-time district chairman of the Junge Union. He was district chairman of the CSU, a member of the municipal council in Estenfeld and a member of the district council. From 1970 to 1994 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament , to which he was always directly elected in the Würzburg-Land constituency.
