Christian Wohlmutter (born September 29, 1988 ) is an Austro - Hungarian triathlete. He is vice world champion of the amateurs in the duathlon (2007) and triathlon state champion U23 in the half distance (2009).

Career

Christian Wohlmutter studied geoinformation and cartography at the Vienna University of Technology. In May 2007 he was Duathlon Vice World Champion in Hungary in the age group 18-19.

In 2009 he became Austrian U23 champion on the triathlon half-distance and in May 2010 he was able to qualify for a starting place at the World Championships in Florida in St. Pölten. He started for TRI Kagran . He has not appeared internationally since 2010.

Christian Wohlmut now works as a cartographer and lives in Leoben . He announced a start on social media and his comeback at Ironman 70.3 Marbella in April 2019.
