Christiane Budig (born March 8, 1969 in Luckenwalde ) is a German artist ( glass art , glass design) and art therapist .

Life

Christiane Budig was born in Luckenwalde in 1969 as the daughter of the Protestant superintendent Ernst-Clemens Budig from Eisleben and the teacher Ingelore Budig from Quedlinburg . After training as a nurse in Halle / Saale , she passed her Abitur in 1994. From 1994 to 1996 Budig studied in the department of design, vessel design with Prof. Kittel at the HKD Burg Giebichenstein and from 1996 to 2002 glass, painting and graphics in the department of art with Christine Triebsch . After various teaching positions at the MLU , Christiane Budig completed a degree in art therapy at the HBK Dresden from 2006 to 2008 . In 2018 she was awarded the Hallesche Kunstpreis.

Christiane Budig lives and works as an artist and art therapist in Halle / Saale.
