Christiane Kalss

Christiane Kalss (born August 18, 1984 in Leoben ) is an Austrian author. She lives in Vienna .

Life

Christiane Kalss studied theater, film and media studies at the University of Vienna and scenic writing at uniT in Graz. In 2015/16 she was a participant in the script workshop Munich- Styria.

In 2010 Kalss took part in the workshop days of the Vienna Burgtheater . In 2014 she was nominated for the Leonhard Frank Prize of the Mainfranken Theater in Würzburg and in 2016 for the Play-Up Author's Prize at the Schauspiel Essen . In 2016 she was also invited to the Heidelberger Stückemarkt with her play The Invention of Slavery .
