Christiane Loh
Christiane Loh (born March 9, 1960 as Christiane Schmuck; † February 11, 2003 ) was a German singer and Christian songwriter .
Life
Christiane Loh was discovered in the 1980s under her maiden name Schmuck as a soloist in the Wetzlar Youth Choir under the direction of Margret Birkenfeld . Her own songs, mostly performed in the duet Christiane Schmuck & Cornelia Dreuth , became an integral part of the choir's concert program and were published on several of its albums. Stylistically, her compositions ranged between songwriter- chansons and New Spiritual Song . In addition, various children's projects with the Wetzlar Children's Choir appeared . After her marriage to Sieghard Loh, a second nephew of the singer Doris Loh and the entrepreneurial brothers Friedhelm and Joachim Loh , she made her solo debut with Abakus in 2000 under the title Lichterloh . She died a few years later in February 2003, leaving behind four children in addition to her husband.
