Christiane Vogel

Christiane Vogel (born June 27, 1926 in Gliwice as Christiane Kremski , † May 22, 2006 ) was a German writer .

Life

Christiane Vogel completed a commercial apprenticeship. After the end of the Second World War she was trained as a " new teacher " in the Soviet occupation zone and worked as a teacher in Schmölln until 1960 . From 1960 to 1964 she headed the district House of Culture , and from 1964 to 1974 she was Head of Culture at the Council of the city of Schmölln. From 1974 she lived in Jürgenstorf near Stavenhagen , where she worked as a clerk for culture in a state- owned estate .

Christiane Vogel published children's books since the mid-1950s ; her works were mostly created in collaboration with her husband Gerhard Vogel . In addition, he worked for the radio . Christiane Vogel had been a member of the GDR Writers' Association since 1960 .
