Christina Schellenberg (born February 20, 1988 in Nuremberg ) is a German soccer player and currently player-coach for the first women's team of SV Weinberg in the 2nd Bundesliga South .

Career

Schellenberg began her career at senior level when unterklassigen SV 67 Weinberg , from which it for the season 2007/08 for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich moved. On August 26, 2007 (2nd matchday), she made her debut in the goalless draw in the home game against Hamburger SV in the Bundesliga . She scored her first goal on May 1, 2008 (12th matchday) in a 3-2 home win against 1. FFC Frankfurt with the 1-1 goal in the 27th minute. She played 17 games for Bayern and scored two goals before returning to Weinberg after just one season . From 2008 to 2013, she played in the third- tier Regionalliga Süd before being promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga . After the first season in the second division, she accepted the position of coach at the club, but has also been playing actively in the first women's team since summer 2016.

National team

Schellenberg made his debut on November 1, 2006 in the U-19 national team , which won 2-0 against the selection of Sweden; she came on in the 71st minute for Katharina Baunach .
