Christine Beier (born December 12, 1983 in Kyritz ) is a German handball player .

Career

When Beier was in 7th grade, she started playing handball at MTV Wünsdorf. A year later she joined SV Lokomotive Rangsdorf and in 2003 moved to the 2nd division for SV Berliner VG 49 , where the sports student scored 189 goals in the 2006/07 season. From the 2007 to 2013 season, the 1.78 meter tall backcourt player was under contract with the Bundesliga club Frankfurter Handball Club . After the FHC had to file for bankruptcy, she moved to the second division club Füchse Berlin , with whom she was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2014.

She was in the squad of the German national team for the women's handball world championship in 2009 in the People's Republic of China , with which she reached 7th place. She also took part in the 2013 World Cup and scored six goals in seven games.
