Christine Emmerich

Christine Emmerich (born October 25, 1974 in Ruit auf den Fildern as Christine Schlembach ; † January 22, 2020 ) was a German television journalist .

Life

After graduating from high school , she studied theater and media sciences , political science and psychology in Erlangen , private acting training, theater pedagogical work with children and assistant director in Salzburg . During her studies she wrote for the feature section of the Nürnberger Zeitung . Then she worked at ZDF in today - editors.

In 2000 she switched to Südwestrundfunk . Since 2002 she has worked as a reporter for the SWR Landesschau aktuell Baden-Württemberg and moderated the daily news editions. In addition, she moderated special programs in state, federal and European elections or at the NATO summit in Baden-Baden / Strasbourg in 2009 and the ARD focal point in the first. Since 2010 she has been part of the moderation team of the Europa magazine in the first.

In September 2011 Christine Emmerich moved from Germany to Chicago with her husband and two children.
