Christine Hebbel (actress, 1870)
Christine Hebbel , actually Christine Kaizl , (born March 20, 1870 in Vienna , † September 12, 1893 in Gradiska ) was an Austrian theater actress .
Life
Christine Kaizl was the daughter of the Southern Railway Director A. Kaizl and the granddaughter of the actress Christine Hebbel and the playwright Friedrich Hebbel . Like her younger sister Therese (* 1871), she took on the surname of her famous grandmother as an actress.
Christine Hebbel was engaged for the Burgtheater on September 15, 1890 at the age of 20 and made her debut as "Melitta". She left this art institute on September 21, 1891 (last role "Ursula" in Much Ado About Nothing ). Other roles she played were Clärchen in Egmont and Preciosa in Pius Alexander Wolff's play .
She died on September 12, 1893 at the age of 23 in Gradiska.
