Christine Meyer (politician)

Hilde Christine Meyer (born January 7, 1948 in Jöhstadt ) is a German politician (CDU). From 1993 to 2004 she was a member of the state parliament of Saxony .

Meyer attended the extended secondary school in Annaberg from 1962 to 1966 , where she graduated from high school. She then studied at the TH Karl-Marx-Stadt until 1971 , where she graduated with a degree in thermal engineering. After two years as a housewife, she worked as a seamstress at home from 1973 to 1974. Then she became production manager in a pillow factory in Geyer . From 1976 she was again a housewife and seamstress until 1979. Afterwards she worked in the investment construction management of a shoe factory until 1981 and then until 1992 as a group leader for heat supply. Then she worked for the city of Geyer. For the CDU, which she joined in 1990, she moved on December 14, 1993 for Albrecht Buttolo in the state parliament of Saxony, to which she belonged until 2004.
