Christine Schnittker (born June 8, 1974 in Bremerhaven ) is a German politician ( CDU ). She was elected member of the Bremen citizenship for Bremerhaven in 2015 .

biography

Family, education and work

Schnittker attended the Johann Gutenberg School in Bremerhaven until 1990 and graduated with a secondary school leaving certificate. From 1990 to 1993 she completed an apprenticeship as a bank clerk . Since completing her apprenticeship, she has been working for Weser-Elbe Sparkasse (formerly Sparkasse Bremerhaven). There she works as a banker and quality manager.

She lives in Bremerhaven- Schiffdorferdamm .

politics

Christine Schnittker joined the CDU district association Bremerhaven in 2008. Since February 2009 she has been the deputy chairwoman of the Geestemünde district association and has been its chairwoman since January 2016. She was an assessor on the CDU district board of Bremerhaven from March 2010 to 2018. Since March 2018 she has been the deputy chairwoman of the district association. From 2011 to 2015, Schnittker was a city councilor in the Bremerhaven city council, where she was the spokesperson for education policy for the CDU parliamentary group and a member of the public security committee. Since the general election on May 10, 2015, Schnittker has been a member of the Bremen citizenship and holds a state parliament mandate for the CDU Bremen . She is a member of the Deputation for Home Affairs (Land), the Deputation for Children and Education (Land) and a deputy member of the Committee on Increasing Voter Participation and Further Developing Suffrage. She is also a deputy member of the Petitions Committee (Land) and the Committee for Port Affairs in the State of Bremen.
