Christof Frommelt (born June 29, 1918 - March 16, 1987 ) was a Liechtenstein cross-country skier .
biography
Christof Frommelt started the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz over 18 kilometers and finished 79th. In the 4 × 10 km relay he finished 11th together with Arthur Meier , Xaver Frick and Egon Matt . At the opening ceremony, Frommelt was Liechtenstein's standard bearer.
His sons Paul and Willi also took part in the Olympic Games as ski racers and both won a bronze medal. His third son Peter was also a professional athlete and took part for Liechtenstein in the 1989 World Table Tennis Championships in Dortmund and the 2006 World Table Tennis Championships in Bremen .
