Christoffer Selbekk (born May 26, 1939 in Stadsbygd , Sør-Trøndelag , † January 11, 2012 in Bærum ) was a Norwegian ski jumper and entrepreneur .

life and career

Selbekk, born in Sør-Trøndelag in 1939, achieved 5th place in jumping from the normal hill at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 1966 . In the same year he jumped on Bjørnstadbakken in Tistedalen with a hill record of 62.5 m, which he still holds on the now closed hill. At the Four Hills Tournament 1966/67 he reached 4th place in Innsbruck and at the end of the tour 19th place in the overall ranking. After his active career, he held various positions in the Norwegian Ski Association and in the Norwegian Golf Association.

In 1962 Selbekk completed an economics degree at the University of Denver . From 1974 to 1978 he was CEO of Tretorn Norge. From 1978 he ran his own sports company, Chrisco Sport .

Selbekk lived in Eiksmarka until his death on January 11, 2012 .
