Christoph Dinkel
Christoph Dinkel (* 1963 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ) is a German Protestant theologian .
Life
Dinkel studied Protestant theology in Tübingen , Hamburg and Kiel . After completing his doctorate in 1996 at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel with the dissertation: Shaping the Church - A Study of Schleiermacher's Theory of Church Regiment , he completed the Vicariate in Reutlingen from 1995 to 1997 . From 1997 to 2000 he was pastor z. A. in Bondorf and Heilbronn . After completing his habilitation in 2000 in the field of practical theology at Christian-Albrechts-Universität, Kiel, with the habilitation thesis What is the use of worship? - From 2000 to 2004 he taught a functional theory of Protestant worship as a private lecturer in practical theology in Kiel. Since 2000 he has been pastor at the Christ Church in Stuttgart; In 2020 he moved to the Johanneskirche on the Feuersee in Stuttgart. Since 2004 he has been teaching as an adjunct professor for practical theology at the University of Kiel.
