Christoph Friedrich von Beverförde zu Stockum (baptismal name: Christoph Friedrich Bernhard Franz) (* 1710 ; † April 7, 1790 in Osnabrück ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and Canon of Osnabrück .

Life

Christoph Friedrich von Beverförde zu Stockum was born as the son of Jobst Heidenreich von Beverförde zu Stockum (1665-1726, Colonel on horseback) and his wife Margarethe Theodora von Ketteler zu Bollen († 1748). With the receipt of the tonsure on March 4, 1730, Christoph was prepared for a spiritual life. After his brother Nikolaus Hermann waived , in 1734 he came into the possession of an Osnabrück cathedral priest . On April 19, 1735 the revival to the knighthood of the Münster took place. In 1759 he was chaplain in Schledehausen , in 1778 cathedral clergyman and in April 1763 representative of the cathedral chapter in the state parliament .
