Praia Melão is a coastal town in the Mé-Zóchi district on the island of São Tomé in the island state of São Tomé and Príncipe . In 2012, 2668 inhabitants were counted.

geography

The place lies between Almas and Pantufo on the northeast coast of São Tomé, about 4.5 km southeast of the capital São Tomé. To the south the place is bounded by the course of the Rio Manuel Jorge and then the Cape Ponta Praião connects .
