Christoph Papen
Christoph Papen (partly also Pape) (born January 1, 1678 in Giershagen , † 1735 ) was a picture carver and sculptor of the Baroque .
Life
He was the son of Heinrich Papen and Gertrud Kramer. He himself was married twice. In his first marriage he was married to Johanna Elisabeth Koch, who died in 1729, and in his second marriage to Maria Katharina Pölmann, a native of Marsberg. He worked in his father's sculpture workshop, which he later took over.
