Christoph Siefkes (born February 20, 1991 in Dessau ) is a German football player .
Career
Siefkes began his career in the youth of SV Dessau 05 . In 2004 he moved to the C-youth of Halleschen FC , where he played briefly with his cousin Patrick . On the 31st matchday of the Regionalliga Nord in the 2009/10 season he celebrated his debut against SV Wilhelmshaven on May 2, 2010 , when he came on for Angelo Hauk in the 78th minute. On May 20, 2010, the Dessau native received an offer from Bayer 04 Leverkusen who invited him to a trial training session. After successfully completing training, he signed a contract with the Werkself until June 30, 2013. He made his debut for the reserves of Bayer 04 Leverkusen on matchday 1 of the Regionalliga West in a 0-0 win against VfL Bochum II . On the 6th matchday he then scored his first goal in the 1: 2 defeat against the second team from Borussia Mönchengladbach . During the season he became a top performer, scoring five goals in 30 games. On June 20, 2011, he signed a contract with FC Carl Zeiss Jena through his cousin , who loaned him for a year from Bayer 04 Leverkusen. In Jena, he made his professional debut in the 3rd division on July 23, 2011 in the 3-0 away defeat in the Thuringian derby against FC Rot-Weiss Erfurt .
In the winter of 2014 Siefkes signed a contract with 1. FC Magdeburg . On May 31, 2015, as part of the team, he made it to the third division in the second leg of the relegation against Kickers Offenbach . After promotion to League 3, he left Magdeburg and moved to the Swiss Promotion League for FC Rapperswil-Jona .
Siefkes is currently playing in the Lower Bavarian A-Class at DJK Altenkirchen .
