Patrick Siefkes (born January 12, 1990 in Dessau ) is a German soccer player who has been playing for SV Drochtersen / Assel in the North Regional Soccer League since 2015 .

Career

Siefkes began his career as an all-rounder with his hometown club SV Dessau 05 and played there up to the D-youth . A year followed for FC Grün-Weiß Piesteritz in the C-Youth Association League. After he was voted the best goalkeeper in a youth tournament, he left Piesteritz in summer 2004 and moved to Halleschen FC . He played with Halle in the B youth association league and then went to the U-19 of 1. FC Magdeburg . In the summer of 2006, he left the A youth regional league and moved from Magdeburg to the U-19 Bundesliga for FC Carl Zeiss Jena , where he played until June 2009. For the 2009/10 season he was promoted as the third goalkeeper to the first team of FC Carl Zeiss Jena. On April 23, 2011 he made his professional debut in the 3rd division against Wacker Burghausen after coach Heiko Weber had previously suspended Carsten Nulle . On June 18, 2011 Siefkes extended his contract to June 30, 2013. After the contract expired, he moved to league competitor Wacker Nordhausen in the summer of 2013 . For the 2015/16 season Siefkes moved to the newly promoted regional league SV Drochtersen / Assel , where he has been the regular goalkeeper ever since.

Private

His cousin Christoph played with Patrick for FC Carl Zeiss Jena from 2011 to 2013 on loan from Bayer 04 Leverkusen .
