Christoph Wortberg

Christoph Wortberg (born August 17, 1963 in Cologne ) is a German actor , screenwriter and writer .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1982, Wortberg first studied German, philosophy and history in Cologne. He then completed an acting training, among other things as part of a guest study at the University of Television and Film in Munich. He is also the author of radio features for WDR and SDR. He also writes scripts for television productions such as Großstadtrevier , Die Wache , Der letzte Bulle , SOKO Cologne , Tatort Cologne .

Wortberg should be known to a wider audience through his role in the ARD series Lindenstrasse , where he played the doctor's son Frank Dressler.

In 2017 he wrote the screenplay “Neighbors” for the Cologne crime scene investigator duo Max Ballauf and Freddy Schenk . With 11.19 million viewers, this crime scene was the most successful case since the 1,000. Crime scene episode in November 2016.

In 2007, Wortberg received the Hansjörg-Martin Prize from the “Authors' group of German-language crime literature - The Syndicate ” for the crime novel Die Farbe der Angst . Together with Manfred Theisen he wrote the youth novel Der Geist der Bücher , published in 2007 .

His youth novel The Seriousness of Life is also no fun was nominated for the German Youth Literature Award 2015 .
