Christopher Collins (actor)

Christopher Charles Collins (* 30th August 1949 in Orange , New Jersey , USA ; † 12. June 1994 in San Buenaventura , CA , USA) was an American actor and stand-up - comedian .

Collins, often mentioned in the credits under his pseudonym Chris Latta , toured the United States with his comedy program in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He himself was considered a good friend of the film actor Stephen Sisk .

Collins was originally supposed to lend the voice of C. Montgomery Burns , the owner of the nuclear power plant in The Simpsons , but unknown circumstances meant that Harry Shearer was used for the part after only a few episodes that Collins had already spoken. Then Collins Moe was supposed to speak to the bartender, but this time he was ousted by Hank Azaria .

Nevertheless, he was considered a much booked speaker, especially in the animated series Action Force - The New Heroes in which he both Cobra Commander and Gung-Ho , as well as The Transformers in which he voiced Starscream , Wheeljack and many more. Collins died of a sudden cerebral haemorrhage at the age of 44 .
