Christopher Gravett

Christopher Gravett (* 1951 in Broadstairs , Kent ) is a British historian who is mainly concerned with the military history of the Middle Ages .

Life

Gravett studied Medieval History at the University of London and spent several years as a curator at the British Museum . He published a large number of books on medieval weapons , armor and castles , with an emphasis on England and Germany. Gravett worked as a consultant for film and television projects for Braveheart , among others . He is senior curator of the Royal Armories at the Tower of London . Gravett also published children's books on medieval topics.
