Frank Bongardt (* 14. May 1972 in Idar-Oberstein ) is World and European Champion in kickboxing (Pointfighting) in the light heavyweight division and as a senior in the heavyweight division .

Frank Bongard took part in more than 150 tournaments between 2000 and 2010 for the World Kickboxing Association (WKA), World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (Wako), International Sport Karate Association (ISKA) and World Kickboxing Federation (WKF).

From 2004 to 2007 he was a member of the WKA national team, 2005 of the WOMAA national team and 2009 to 2010 of the ISKA national team. During the 2010 World Championships in Alicante ( Spain ) he was world heavyweight champion in the senior singles, as well as in the team together with Oliver Wolff and Carlo Vangelista .

On July 19, 2014 Frank Bongardt defeated his German opponent Frank Grund in a gala match in Bregenz (Austria) in just 5 rounds and was thus able to secure the first professional title of his career.
