Christopher "Chris" Kirby is an American - Australian actor .

Life

Christopher Kirby has been in front of the camera since 1990 and for a long time played mainly minor supporting roles in television series. In 1999/2000 he emigrated to Australia.

He first gained fame through the Matrix trilogy, in which he played the character Mauser in Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions in 2003 . In 2005 he presented in Star Wars: Episode III to Senator Giddean Danu is, his appearance but was cut from the theatrical version.

Kirby had his first leading role in 2012 in the film Iron Sky , in which he played the African-American astronaut James Washington . In 2014 he stood next to Ethan Hawke , Sarah Snook and Noah Taylor in the thriller Predestination staged by the Spierig brothers .
