Chuck Leighton

Chuck Leighton (born February 25, 1924 in Los Angeles , California - † June 8, 2003 in Sun City West , Arizona ) was an American racing car driver .

Career

Leighton drove midget and sprint car races in California from the 1930s . In 1950 he tried his hand at the AAA Nantional series , but could not qualify for a race in any of his three attempts. He later ran a plastics factory in Torrance, California.
