Divilacan ( Filipino : Bayan ng Divilacan ) is a Filipino municipality in the province of Isabela , Administrative Region II, Cagayan Valley. It has 5687 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 12 barangays . It is classified as a second income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
Divilacan is located in the northeast of the province, on the coast of the Philippine Sea . The municipality is located in the Sierra Madre massif . It is 456 km north of Manila and can be reached via the Marhalika Highway and then the Ilagan - Divilacan Road. Its neighboring communities are Maconacon in the north, Tumauini in the west, and Ilagan City in the south.
Divilacan is best known for its location in the Northern Sierra Madre Natural Park , which has been on the list of proposals for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2006 .
