Ramon ( Filipino : Bayan ng Ramon ) is a Filipino township in Isabela Province , Administrative Region II, Cagayan Valley. It has 52,707 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 19 barangays . It is classified as a first income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
Ramon is located in the southwest of the province, at the foot of the Cordillera Central mountain range , in the valley of the Magat River . In the north of the municipality is the Magat reservoir , whose hydropower plant has an output of 381 megawatts. It is 335 km north of Manila and is accessible via the Marhalika Highway . The nearest airport is in Cauayan City , which is served by the Cebu Pacific airline four times a week. Its neighboring communities are Alfonso Lista in the northwest, San Mateo in the north, Alicia and San Isidro in the east, and Santiago City in the south.
