Luna ( Filipino : Bayan ng Luna ) is a Filipino municipality in the Isabela Province , Administrative Region II, Cagayan Valley. It has 19,326 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 19 barangays . It is classified as a fifth income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
Luna is in the center of the province. The municipality is located at the foot of the Cordillera Central in the west and the Sierra Madre in the east, in the valley of the Cagayan and Magat rivers . It is 371 km north of Manila and is accessible via the Marhalika Highway . The nearest airport is in Cauayan City , which is served by the Cebu Pacific airline four times a week. Their neighboring communities are Burgos in the north, Reina Mercedes in the east, Cauayan City in the south, Aurora and Cabatuan in the west.
