Santo Tomas ( Filipino : Bayan ng Santo Tomas ) is a Filipino municipality in the province of Isabela , Administrative Region II, Cagayan Valley. It has 23,005 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 27 barangays . It is classified as a fourth income class community in the Philippines and partially village -like.
Santo Tomas is located in the far north of the province. The municipality is located at the foot of the Cordillera Central massif in the west, in the valley of the Cagayan Rivers . It is 437 km north of Manila and is accessible via the Marhalika Highway . Their neighboring communities are Tumauini in the southeast, Delfin Albano in the south, Mallig in the west, Cabagan in the north and east.
