Naguilian ( Filipino : Bayan ng Naguilian ) is a Filipino municipality in the province of Isabela , Administrative Region II, Cagayan Valley. It has 31,902 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 25 barangays . It is classified as a fourth income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
Naguilian is in the center of the province. The community lies at the foot of the Cordillera Central in the west and the Sierra Madre in the east, in the valley of the Cagayan River . It is 389 km north of Manila and is accessible via the Marhalika Highway . The nearest airport is in Cauayan City , which is served by the Cebu Pacific airline four times a week. Its neighboring communities are Reina Mercedes in the west, Benito Soliven in the south and east, and Gamu in the north.
