Chwitscha Shubitidze ( Georgian ხვიჩა შუბითიძე ; born August 31, 1974 in Rustavi , GSSR ; spelling also Khvicha Shubitidze ) is a former Georgian football player .

Career

Schubitidze played in Georgia with Imedi Tiflis , Tetri Arsiwibei and Schewardeni -1906 Tiflis , before he settled in Germany, initially with FSV Optik Rathenow . In 1998 the offensive player moved to Altmark Stendal . Just a year later he went to FSV Zwickau , for which he was active for three years. In 2002 he joined FC Erzgebirge Aue , with whom he rose to the second division in his first season . In two seasons in the second-highest division he completed 45 games for the "Veilchen" and scored nine goals.

In 2005 he moved to FC St. Pauli in the Regionalliga Nord . In 32 missions he scored four goals here before he went to Oststeinbeker SV after just one year , for whom he played in the regional league. At intervals of one season, he then moved to Halleschen FC in the Northeast Football League in 2007/08 , to FSV Zwickau in 2008/09 and to FC Sachsen Leipzig in 2010/11 . In the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 seasons he played at SG LVB Leipzig in the district league.

From the 2013/2014 season he was coach of the 1st men's team at SG LVB Leipzig. From July 1, 2015 he was active as a U17 youth coach at Halleschen FC. He has been the coach of the Halleschen FC U19 team since the 2016/2017 season.

Familiar

His son Luca Schubitidse is also a footballer and currently plays in the youth team of Dynamo Dresden .
