The Cido arena is a multi-purpose hall in the Lithuanian city of Panevėžys , in the north of the country. The Cido Arena is located on Parko g. 12 (LT-35001).
Those with EU funding ( Lt 47.9 million or € 13.88 million ). The built hall is the home stadium of the Panevėžio Techasas basketball team and has a 250-meter-long cycling track . It is the only covered, internationally suitable railway in the Baltic States. It was designed by the Münster architect Ralph Schürmann .
In 2010 the Lithuanian Youth Day took place in the arena with over 6,000 participants. In 2011, games of the men's European basketball championship were played in the arena . In 2012 it was the site of the European Track Cycling Championships .
The name refers to a manufacturer of soft drinks , the sponsor of the hall is the Cido Group .
