Ciro Fabio Di Corcia (born July 4, 1976 in Foggia ) is a former Italian amateur boxer.

Career

Ciro Fabio Di Corcia was about 1.75 m tall during his competitive career, was Italian light welterweight champion in 1996 and 1997, Italian light middleweight champion in 2001, and Italian middleweight champion in 2006 with a final victory over Emanuele Blandamura .

In 1997 he finished second in the light welterweight division at the Mediterranean Games in Bari . He was only eliminated in the final against Nurhan Süleymanoğlu . In 2000 he took part in the Summer Olympics in Sydney , where he was still defeated in the light middleweight division in the first fight against the Romanian Marian Simion .

At the World Championships in Belfast in 2001 , he was able to win a bronze medal in the light middleweight division. He defeated, among others, Amin Asikainen and only lost in the semifinals against Damián Austin from Cuba.
