Cláudio Mejolaro , nicknamed Cláudio Pitbull (born January 8, 1982 in Porto Alegre ), is a Brazilian football player who is under contract with AD Cabofriense .

Career

Cláudio Pitbull began club football in the youth of Gremio Porto Alegre and was included in the professional team in 1999. He then played here for five years. He only spent the second half of the 2001/02 season on loan at EC Juventude .

In 2005 he moved to Portugal for FC Porto . He never made his breakthrough here and so he spent five seasons on loan from various European, Asian and Latin American clubs.

For the 2010/11 season he then moved to Vitória Setúbal and played here for two years.

During the winter break of the 2011/12 season he then moved to the Turkish first division club Manisaspor, including the transfer . At the end of the season he left the relegated Manisaspor and joined EC Bahia .
