Claas Hanson
Claas Hanson (* 1975 in Duisburg ) is a German composer , musician and music therapist .
Life
Claas Hanson attended the music grammar school in Essen-Werden and at the same time received a young oboe course with Taskin Oray at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf and composition lessons with Alexander Meyer von Bremen .
As an oboist he participated in numerous modern music and music theater projects and worked as a church musician. Since 2003 his main focus has shifted to the composition of instrumental music , sound art and film music .
In 2005 he completed his studies in music and media studies at the Ruhr University Bochum (MA) and in 2008 creative music therapy (Master of Arts) at the University of Witten-Herdecke .
Since then he has worked as a composer, musician and music therapist and teaches at the University for Health & Sport, Technology & Art in Berlin as a professor for music production.
