Claire Brady

Claire Brady (born January 20, 1987 in Kildare ) is an Irish sprinter . She represents the Celbridge Athletic Club at domestic competitions.

Career

In college, where she started for Dublin City University , she won two gold medals indoors over 60 meters, one gold medal over 100 meters and two gold medals over 200 meters outdoors. With the 4 x 100 meter relay , she also set a new Irish university record.

Brady represented Ireland at the U23 European Championships in 2009 , where she missed the semi-finals by a hundredth of a second in advance. At the World Indoor Championships 2010 in Doha , she was eliminated over the 60-meter distance in the semifinals. Her personal best over 100 meters, which she set up in Geneva in June 2009 , is 11.75 seconds. Over 60 meters in the hall, her best time is 7.35 s, set up in Belfast in February 2010 .
