Claire Huangci
Claire Huangci (* 1990 in Rochester, New York ) is an American pianist .
career
Huangci, the daughter of Chinese parents, began playing the piano at the age of six. From 2003 to 2007 she studied at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and from 2007 to 2016 at the University of Music, Drama and Media in Hanover with Arie Vardi. In 2018 she won the Concours Géza Anda in Zurich .
She played with orchestras such as the Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra , the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra . She has also appeared at festivals such as the Kissinger Sommer , the Verbier Festival , the Menuhin Festival Gstaad, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Schwetzingen Festival .
In 2013 she released her debut CD with works by Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev .
