Claude Antoine Colombot
Claude Antoine Colombot (born November 1, 1742 in Besançon ; † April 29, 1821 ibid) was a French architect who built many buildings in the city of Besançon and in Franche-Comté .
Life
Claude Antoine Colombot was born the son of the architect Jean-Charles Colombot . After studying architecture in Paris , he settled in Besançon as an architect in 1768. Alongside Claude-Joseph-Alexandre Bertrand , he is one of the outstanding representatives of classicism in Besançon and Franche-Comté.
