Claude Auclair
Claude Auclair (born May 1, 1943 in La Barre-de-Monts , Vendée , † January 20, 1990 in Nantes ) was a French cartoonist .
Life
Auclair came to Paris at the age of nineteen and became an illustrator for the magazines Fiction and Galaxie . He published his first short comics in the specialist magazine Phénix and in underground comics . From 1970 he drew science fiction short stories for pilots . For the magazine Tintin he created La Saga du Grizzly (German: The Grisly Saga ) and Les Naufragés d'Arroyoka (German: The castaways of Arroyoka ) and from 1973 the comic novel Simon Du Fleuve (German: Simon - Zeuge der Zukunft ), which appeared in all nine volumes in Germany. In this series, Auclair depicts a post-apocalyptic world after a nuclear war. For (à suivre) he created the 158-page comic novel Bran Ruz together with the copywriter Alain Deschamps . This was followed by Le Sang du flamboyeant with copywriter François Migeat , Tuan Mc Cairill with Jacques Acar and Alain Deschamps in 1985 and Celui-là (German: nomads ) with copywriter Alain Riondet .
