Claudia Christina Ribatis (* May 23, 1966 in Elmshorn as Claudia Christina Fruchticht ; † October 4, 2005 ) was a German presenter and pop singer .

Life

The long-standing presenter of the program Rejoice in the north of the NDR -Fernsehens led in 1992 for the first time by the entertainment show that by other third party programs of ARD was acquired. Since 1999 the qualified social pedagogue has also been the author of the series. In the following years she also worked as an author for other series of NDR television, including Bi uns to Hus and Auto-mobil durch den Norden .

Claudia Christina was also known as a radio presenter - in the 1990s she could be heard on NDR 1 Welle Nord - and above all as a singer: in 1984 she was one of the founding members of the Speelwark singing group . In 1996 she married her producer Lutz Ribatis. In 1998 she started a solo career under the name Claudia Christina and released two albums, on whose songs she co-wrote. In 2000 she received the Golden Tuning Fork as the best young artist.

Claudia Christina Ribatis died on 4 October 2005. The cancer , leaving behind her husband and a son (* 2001). She was buried in the cemetery on Friedensallee in Elmshorn.
