Claudia Laura Grigorescu (born January 6, 1968 in Bucharest ) is a former Romanian foil fencer .

successes

Claudia Grigorescu took part in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona , where she was twelfth in the individual. She reached the semi-finals with the Romanian team, in which Italy prevailed 9: 3. The subsequent battle for third place against the United Team was narrowly won with 8: 8 battles and 60:55 hits, so that Grigorescu received the bronze medal together with Laura Badea-Cârlescu , Roxana Dumitrescu , Elisabeta Guzganu and Reka Szabo . She also became world champion with the team in Athens in 1994 and won another four silver medals with her between 1987 and 1998. In 1991 , after a final defeat by Giovanna Trillini in Budapest, she became vice world champion in singles.
