Claudia Szczesny-Friedmann

Claudia Szczesny-Friedmann (born January 15, 1953 ) is a German journalist and author. She lives in Munich .

Life

Claudia Szczesny-Friedmann studied psychology , sociology and philosophy and works as a journalist and author. For many years she wrote for the “Wissenschaft” and “Kulturkritik” editorial offices of Bayerischer Rundfunk and published various non-fiction books on the subject of psychology. Her main interest is in evolutionary psychology .

Her father was the German philosopher, publicist and journalist Gerhard Szczesny , her mother was the dramaturge Martha Meuffels, her brother is the painter, sculptor and photographer Stefan Szczesny . She is married to the publisher Johannes Friedmann, chairman of the editorial board of the Süddeutsche Zeitung . The two have a son.
