Claudio Maldonado (born January 3, 1980 in Curicó , Chile ; full name Claudio Andrés del Transito Maldonado Rivera ) is a former Chilean soccer player and captain of the Chilean national soccer team who moved from Brazilian first division club Santos to Turkish Fenerbahçe during the winter break of the 2007/2008 season SK switched. His contract there ran until June 30, 2009, this was not extended due to disappointing performance, so that he then moved to Flamengo Rio de Janeiro free of charge . For Fenerbahçe, he completed only 27 competitive games in two seasons.
