Claudius Marx

Claudius Marx (born January 16, 1959 ) is a German lawyer .

Life

Marx studied law at the University of Trier and the University of La Sapienza Rome . In 1992 he was at the University of Trier in Knut Amelung with a thesis on regulatory approvals in criminal law for Dr. jur. PhD . He completed the postgraduate master's degree in “European and International Business Law” at the University of St. Gallen with an MBL-HSG degree.

From 1991 to 1999 he worked as a lawyer, from 1994 to 1999 he headed the legal department of the IHK Hochrhein-Bodensee . Since 2006 he has been the general manager of the IHK Hochrhein-Bodensee based in Constance .

Claudius Marx has been professor for commercial and foreign trade law at the University of Trier since 1999 and also lecturer for corporate law at the University of St. Gallen .

In 2001, he and Wenglorz founded the business law firm Marx Wenglorz & Partner on the island of Reichenau .

Act

Claudius Marx has numerous publications in the Economic and Administrative law and in intellectual property law written. He has made a name for himself in European trademark law in particular .

In 2006, Jürgen Zöllner , Rhineland-Palatinate Minister of Science, awarded him the Rhineland-Palatinate teaching award in the subject group social, law and economics.
