Claus C. Berg

Claus C. Berg (born July 28, 1937 in Wiesbaden ; † February 28, 2020 ) was a German economist .

Life

After studying physics, economics and business administration at the Universities of Mainz and Frankfurt am Main with a degree in economics, doctorate (1972) and habilitation (1976) in Mannheim , he taught from 1977 to 2002 as the holder of the chair for general business administration, in particular materials management and distribution at the Institute for Logistics and Information Management at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich . During this time he was dean of the faculty from 1981 to 1982 and vice-president of the university from 1983 to 1984 .
