Claus bull

Claus Stier (born April 24, 1936 in Rostock ; † April 29, 2016 in Wustrow ) was a German pastor and author.

Life

Claus Stier was the son of a Rostock master painter. After graduating from the Great City School , he studied theology in Rostock from 1956 . In 1962 he made his first theological exam and became vicar in Alt Buckow , later assistant preacher in Althof near Doberan . After the second exam and ordination, he took over the pastor's post in Retschow in 1964 . In 1966 he married Jutta Pietsch, with whom he had five children. From 1972 to 1996 Stier was pastor of Fischland in Wustrow.

In 1993 Claus Stier was awarded the Freudenthal Prize .
