Bukowo (German Alt Buckow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship . It belongs to the Gmina Tychowo ( Groß Tychow ) in the powiat Białogardzki ( Belgard ).

Alt Buckow is 23 kilometers east of Belgard on a side road junction from the Voivodeship Road 167 Koszalin - Tychowo. The Chotla ( Kautel ), formerly the border between the principality of Cammin and the Belgard district, flows to the east . The railway line Białogard - Świelino ( Schwellin ) lies north of the municipality .

The von Münchow family is mentioned as the owner in the 16th century . In 1804, Lieutenant Christoph Casimir von Versen is named as the landlord, who sold the estate to his daughter in 1810, who inherited it.

The manor buildings stood on a steep hill sloping towards the Kautelbach. The Alt Buckower Forest stretched east of the village.

The community has always been closely connected with the village of Neu Buckow. So it came as part of the Office Neu Buckow October 1, 1932 by the defunct county Bublitz for county Belgard (Persante) . Alt Buckow was part of the parish Neu Buckow, which in turn belonged to the parish Groß Tychow of the Protestant church of the Old Prussian Union .
