Podborsko (German Kiefheide ) is a village with 60 inhabitants in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship . It belongs to the municipality of Tychowo (Groß Tychow) in the Białogard (Belgard) district .

Geographical location

Podborsko is located 15 kilometers southeast of the district town of Białogard on the voivodship road 169 Białogard - Byszyno (Boissin) - Głodowa (Goldbeck) - Bobolice (Bublitz). After Tychowo there are seven kilometers. Podborsko is located in what used to be called the “ Burzlaffer Forest” on the left bank of the Liśnica (Leitznitz). The place is a train station on the Szczecinek – Kołobrzeg railway line and thus a central point of contact for the surrounding towns.

history

The village of Kiefheide was a Vorwerk zu Mandelatz (Polish: Modrolas) with its own manor until 1945 . The Haeger family was the last German owner of this 327 hectare property. In 1867 there were 112 residents in Kiefheide and Mandelatz. Through the municipality of Mandelatz, Kiefheide was connected to the Burzlaff office and the Buckow registry office until 1945 and belonged to the Belgard district (Persante) . District court area was Belgard . The last office holders before 1945 were head of office Wilhelm Roggenbuck, registrar Treichel and Oberlandjäger Riedel.

Kiefheide was parish in the parish of Groß Tychow . It belonged to the Belgard parish in the church province of Pomerania of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union . The last German clergyman was Pastor Werner Braun.

Today Podborsko is in the parish of Koszalin (Köslin) in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
